NGUYỄN Bảo-Huy
I work at the intersection of academic research, industrial R&D, and technical consultancy, with a focus on transportation electrification and modern power systems with high penetration of inverter-based resources. My research and professional activities are grounded in advanced modeling and control engineering, particularly for electric vehicles, hybrid energy storage systems, power-electronics-dominated power systems, and energy management applications.
In addition to publishing in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, I have led and contributed to R&D and consultancy projects with organizations such as UNDP, the World Bank, EVN (Vietnam Electricity), and ATS (Applied Technical Systems JSC). These projects aim to translate research outcomes into practical, scalable, and technically sound solutions for energy transition, transportation electrification, and grid modernization.

- Aug 2026: Our review paper, “Comprehensive analysis of dissipating energy flow-based oscillation source locating methods for modern power systems,” has been published in Electric Power Systems Research.
- April 2026: I have joined the Editorial Board of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine as an Associate Editor. I will be contributing to the Automotive Electronics track.
- April 2026: I have been a Member of the Vehicle Power and Propulsion Technical Committee (VPP TechCom) of IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (IEEE VTS).
